Speech Therapist

I completed my Masters of Speech Pathology in 2018 and have worked primarily with children and adults in the disability space. I am passionate about providing neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed practices.

I believe the key to effective therapy is incorporating a child’s strengths and interests, and using play to ensure therapy is fun, motivating and easy to implement into everyday life. Creating safe and friendly environments and ensuring that families feel supported throughout their therapy journey is important to me.

I love to work collaboratively with families, other health professionals, and educators to best support meaningful change. I am particularly interested in supporting early communication, alternative and augmentative communication (AAC), developmental language, and speech sound disorders.

I embrace evidence-based practice and have completed further training in the areas of neurodiversity-affirming practice, gestalt language processing, Language Acquisition Through Motor Planning (LAMP), paediatric feeding, key word sign, and trauma-informed practice. I am a certified practicing member of Speech Pathology Australia.

Outside of work you can find me enjoying time with my young family, grabbing a coffee, outside in nature, or getting messy in the pottery studio.
